Tishrei 5766 October 2005 (approx. 8.5" x 11") My birthday fell on Rosh Hashanah this year and it felt like a good time for new beginnings. A new calendar year, a new year in my life. In this quilt, I am the butterfly, breaking through the fog that I have been lost in lately. Sewn into the quilt is a recording device which produces the sound of the shofar when the button beneath the butterfly is pushed.
