Shevat 5766 February 2006 (approx. 8.5" x 11") This month is a difficult one. In the depths of the winter, everything seems lifeless including me and my inspiration. The result, therefore is this lonely winter tree, thread painted with variegated thread on a snowy background. This tree represents the snowy landscape and my own internal winter, while honoring Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish new year for the trees, which is celebrated this month. Not for Sale
